Hey! My name is Erik Thor. I'm a Swedish Coach and aspiring author. I study personality psychology and personal development under giants like Carl Jung, Alfred Adler, Abraham Maslow, and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. Are you maybe an INFP, ENFP, INFJ, or ESFP? Are you interested in the MBTI? Then you've come to the right place. What's unique about my channel?
Here, you can learn about your personality without needing to classify yourself or fit into a category. Your goal is to individuate and find your unique journey, not become attached to a persona, social group, or stereotype. Yeah, that's right, I will teach you to stop identifying with your personality type and instead use personality type classifications to empower yourself and push your personal growth.
You can learn about specific personality traits beyond the 16 personalities and classic systems here. I use the Polymathematics approach, which adds 24 new unique traits and 16 intelligences that describe measurable, quantifiable traits we can observe easily in ourselves and others. I developed my system with inspiration from Jung, the MBTI, The Big Five, and the Enneagram.
The traits are resilience, Responsibility, Assertiveness, Adaptability, Sensitivity, Modesty, Playfulness, Independence, and Teamwork. They are also curiosity, Empathy, Optimism, Attention, Imagination, Ambition, Structure, and Skepticism. These can be grouped into eight categories, Introverted and Extroverted traits, Intellectual and Practical traits, Emotional and Creative traits, and Professional and Recreational traits.
My system is highly practical and can be used in coaching to help you achieve greater success at work, in relationships, and in your personal goals and hobbies. Do you want to better understand yourself? Take my personality test, get my personal report, get coaching, or take my online course.

16 Personalities Describe Their Dream House
This is on point as in modern time now people spending a lot of time on social media about personality disorders and can lead to wrong conclusions. Like Carl said just treat people as individuals. That’s how I would like to be treated so same way back 😊
Thank you for the kind words
As an ENTJ: my invention? Nonono…. This was the result of me leading people. The ownership of this invention is mine, but the credit goes to the inventor.
As an INTJ, I don't need a communicator to interpret my ideas and solutions to someone else. It depends on the personality of the one hearing my ideas and solutions as to whether they understand or even want to understand. Narcisists are often not interested in an introvert's ideas, for example. Regarding trusting / not trusting others, not everyone is trustworthy. However, those you don't trust don't have to know that you don't trust them. Once you realize you can't trust someone, that becomes your own little secret. ;)
This was one big "duh". Truisms. Waste of time.
For the people thinking she's an INFP: People with Ne move their eyes around a lot. People with Ni keep their eyes fixed. Watch videos of an INFP and an INFJ talking while looking at the camera. She kept her eyes fixed on him, so she has Ni.
It is about personality, and your personality exists, and you have to understand it to be able to detach from it. Your personality is a bunch of neurons connected by energy, while you imagine other personalities you could have you literally create other alternative patterns you can choose to adopt. So, if you understanding of this system, the system that has been building your entire life you call personality, is poor, then you won't be able to create other systems accurately, they will be incomplete. And the more perspectives you get, the more you know the person behind these thoughts, the real you. This isn't psychology, this is neuroscience

i remember dave saying that having ideas far from reality is a savior intuition thing. then i hear from binyamin that having this unrealistic ideas is a demon intuition thing, what means that dave also is a sensor according to binyamin. i also think they confuse INxJs with people who have cluster a disorders like schizoid, paranoid, schizotypal people who have the characteristics dave thinks is typical for lead Ni, dave might have one of those disorders too, because i got diagnosed with schizotypal disorder and can totally relate with daves problems.
Genius Carl
Im infp f 60. Husband of 21byrs estp 49. Best friend of 34 yrs esfp 59. I am overwhelmed. dont like estp at all any more. Everything about him is rediculouse. He is loude. Never quiet. He lies. Seems to be stuck emotionaly in a high school bro dude persona. Working out hiw this xan end easily. Besti. Is angel/devil. Such a good friend. Great host. We hang out 3 or 4 times a week. After all these years he always treats me like hes so happy to have me over. Or excited to tale me somewhere cool. I even have a space at his pad that has all my fave things. Coke. Ashtray. Comouter. Headphones. Red vines. Foot massager... We text constantly we are each others fav persons. He also talks insesantly. I have been conditioned to blick him out. Weve talked about that. He kniws i do that. Its from hearing the same stories iver and over. But if hes on a rant and i hear a trigger word ill spin around and tell him to start over. Every 15 misvir so somthing happens without warning. He snaps. Snaps about something rediculouse. And goes off yelling and saying things that he thinks might hurt my feelings. Will throw everything that i might have had problems with in the past and yells about how all thats my fault bthings i havent thought about for very long time. Like we were going into the kutchen to make baked beans and lil smokies. I spoted some bisquits. So i started taking pots and pans out if the oven. And putting busquits on a pan. He comes in and starts squeeling anout what are you doing? No i didnt say buiscuits. Just beans. See thats your problem shelley. You dont know how to act. No uhuh. His roommate and i thiught he was messing around for a minute. But the it was like oh ya. The melt down. Hedbgo on to tell ne that its my fault that jay and i were going to split up cuz i always jyst do whatever i want to do. Im selfish. So if course jay would start smoking crack. And at his roommate about her not making enough money. And even went iff on some people that werent even in the room. Went on for about 25 minutes while i was walking around collecting all my belongings there. Him throwing things and screaming. Got all my stuff. Hugged joanne. I hated leaving her there with him. But shes his roommate. She knows him . I left. We didnt talk for 3bmonths. I moved 6 hrs up north. After 3 months he texts me im coming to get you. Picked me up and we hung out for a week. Sometimes he just goes non communicateabforna couple weeks. Then we just end up doing somthing together and we fall rite back in our slots. Normally its him begging me to hang out .bits like he desperatly does not want to be alone. I love my solitude. I have sacrificed some of that to just sit in that chair and listen to him go on and on about people i dont even know. Not being forced to do anything. But its like a habbit. We rake fir granted that we'll hang. Usualy at about 715 . 15bmunutes after he gets home from work he texts when you coming over? I ll say ok. 945. Gotta eat shiwer. Hell saybdo that here. Then i get there at midnight. So ya im not perfect. Im full if shit when i tell someone ill be somewhere at a certain time. I get there when i get there. Currently we are hanging out. Due for a meltdown in april 2025. Sorry about sloppy texting. Its freakin hit sweat in my eyes. And i keep hitting the b on accident. But you can figure it out.
Thank you for noting the obvious difference between INTJs and Elon Musk regarding the outward self promotion, which is so antithetical to how we operate generally
This is imo an excellent handling of this much-discussed topic. 🙏 You’ve probably already read this, but just in case, Dario Nardi co-authored an interesting paper on cognitive functions and executive functioning, which is right in line with your assessment. I wish I could link it, but unfortunately I no longer can access research papers that are paywalled :(
Yes, this video is excellent Erik, but you are an ISFP - ISFP’s are cool Erik I wish you would consider it. Describing yourself as an INFJ doesn’t fit you at all.
Weirdly accurate
Sage advice, thanks!
Very true Eric, these are our issues. These reasons are also the reasons why ENTP and INFJ don't mesh. We like doing us and you guys like doing you. Therefore because of these reasons I never got super close to INFJ. Now when I meet an INFJ I keep the conversation light. It's best that ENTPs and INFJs keep each other at arms length
Jah bless, because Se inferior, but with ni grip you can work through
To be fair ESTJ and ENFP do value the same 4 functions. And have a lot in common. In a one hour video, it is not outrageous to make that mistake.
I admit that guessing is my limitation. I will try my best, but if there are other ways to make things going smoothly, why choose a way to get things done but always end in a failure instead?
INFJ and ISFJ have extraverted feeling. INTJ & ISTJ has interoverted feeling. Is your video description correct?

'The classification of individuals means nothing... Nothing at all" C.Jung Love This SO deeply for the vibrational frequency is aligned with accepting & loving everyone just as they are outside of judgement 🙏
Jung as he gets older under massive changes he also experienced dark nights of the soul, and almost fall into psychosis himself due to confronting his inner child! By active imagination. It leads him to write the Red book! So there’s a story about his chilhood that many people dont know about. His father is one top leader of Mason in Switzerland. His Aunt and mother is involved. He was sacrificed himself when he is a child in ritualistic manner by this Mason like Sa….tanic worship! His red books is full if symbols of what his childhood looks like and confronting it leads him to confront the dev…..il himself. Usually this children or children now adults sacrificed in those kind of rituals have a very distinct drawings and paintings of symbols as a way of remembering what happened to them. No wonder he changes his views at the end
Time goes by...views could change someone's perception about some thing... it's common.
Or INFJ and everything Myers-Briggs is not real science. Use Big 5 instead.
BUT! During his time psychology was specialized art of the upper class and there was more effort into individual healing. Now psychology is relevant to everybody, thus workable general models arise in value.
That was really nice. Thank You. It’s rare that we aren’t portrayed as the villain.
You couldn't have summed us up better tbh. This is exactly how I am, and we are always getting wrong judged to be problematic. When really all we ever want is the best outcome. Nothing more nothing less.
Mbti is a pseudoscience akin to zodiac signs. The best we have in terms of assessing an individuals personality " type" is big five.
The MBTI and Big Five actually show strong correlations, suggesting the MBTI isn't all that far off, just Jung trying to subjectively come up with an explanation for his observations with patients, later backed up and surpassed by the statistical and empirical model used by the Big Five. That said, the Big Five does leave a lot of holes that Jungs theory attempt to fill. The Big five makes no attempt to explain what a person is thinking or feeling on the inside, it simply focuses on objective, observable behaviour. Jung tried to understand our cognition, what is inside a person, not just how a person adapts their personality to their work or situation.
To be nice and polite to each other in general as opposed to going by first impression of someone.
The metaphor of the bird and hamsters speaks to me truly.
I've bounced between all of them.. I remember having full years of being a tactician then a complete loose screw. Im still loose screw lol
Everything you said about ENTPms problems in the first two minutes describes ADHD.
Cool 🤌 Minus ‘flexible’ part 😅esfj’s
Thanx for your insights 💜
With ALLAH its since birth , READ QURAN ❤
Interesting though. Something that caught my attention but you know this is a wrong place to say this 😅
@@Gjakdjruknownhpjs MBTI existed in Quran 1400 years ago , did you read it ?
@@Lu-ot8hs whay are saying bruh-? You are confusing me. I thought you were talking about self actualization.
I was gonna slightly disobey but i liked and subbed. Thanks for the advice!
When you learn 4 sides of the mind dynamics, you'll realise the system is dynamic and flexible and explains the differences between types that are the 'same' (e.g. a UDSF INFJ)
"Seems to do the least but does the most" As INTP Asmongold says... Be the wizard. The fat guy in the back of the room who is the only one who knows how it all works and is, by systemic force, irreplicable.
Totally agree with him. Personality also changes with time, and circumstances. I hate the idea of personality types, we don't all have to fit into a little box.
At this point i just want an entp community 🥲
Legenden!!!
